Chief Executive Officer

Welcome Message

Greetings from Ghana and Omaha Emerging Ladies Academy.

ELA is dedicated to empowering young Black girls to thrive in tech studies and breaking a double barrier. According to the Pew Research Center, only 25% of computer STEM workers are Black women and less than 1% of workers at tech companies such as Google and Facebook are Black women.

The Emerging Ladies Academy strives to offer a safe space for girls to delve into their passion and become the leaders of tomorrow. We are continuing to expand our presence around Omaha, Council Bluffs, Ghana and across Africa.

More than just sitting behind a computer screen. We take young women behind the scenes of the software and coding process used in building websites, coding apps and bringing robots to life. Providing hands on experience in a nurturing environment, Emerging Ladies Academy offers a variety of courses for all those interested in STEM.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer, guided by my 20+ years human and social services experience and goal is to work with team, students, friends and partners to provide a gateway to excellence that will continue for generations to come.
